Day one was ridiculous. Picture a thousand plus students all in one place, for one purpose. When the music started, the crowd began to bounce and slowly from front to back, hands were raised in adoration to God. We continued on this worship journey, for what seemed like a moment but in all actuality was close to 45 minutes. I am still so amazed when God in all his majesty and mystery showers his people with his presence. It opened the door for Pastor Jaycee jennings, the Director of YFN to deliver a short and simple, yet power packed sermon. The end result was Hundreds of students flooding the alter to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and over 25 young men and women being set free from Drug addictions. I found myself moved to tears over and over as I watched the hand of God do something radical. What an honor to serve the creator in the area of ministry and what a privilege it is to experience this great move of God.
