Do you ever wonder why God didn’t just kill off the Hebrew slaves that doubted his promise? The promise to deliver them into a “promise” land. He forced them to wander the desert for 40 years until the unbelievers had died and gone.
Perhaps God wanted to;
A. Make them suffer in the desert and then be deprived of entering Canna. (kind of like an, “I told you not to mess with me” kind of thing.)
B. Make good use of the barren waste land that he created.
C. Teach a younger generation the importance of pursuing the call of God to a T.
The question is, “What are we doing to teach the younger generation TODAY”? We had better make it a priority before God uses are unfaithfulness as an example.
P.S. No one likes the Desert!
