I am working on a sermon for this weekend, continuing in our series on the Seven Deadly Sins. This week is Laziness. Funny thought, when I think of laziness, my mind immediately goes to the Pixar film, Walle. Remember, the people floating around in futuristic hover-rounds? Everything needed was at the touch of a button, contributing to their demise and Isolation. The not so funny thought is that Laziness creeps it’s way right into our spiritual walk, thus contributing to our spiritual demise and Isolation. Which of course, is exactly where the enemy of our destiny wants us…Isolated. In essence, laziness is more then just procrastinating, or putting off responsibilities, it is actually quite damaging to our soul.
