Marked to leave a Mark

I am marked. Woven and spun in His image, I am. Merely dust and clay breathed, spoken into life. I am called out. Called out by name, I am known by my marks. Known by the inscription of purpose carved into the walls of my heart. Recognized by others from the source of faith that lights my path. Identified by the confident walk in uncommon favors although the earth may tremble & shake. Although those who do not understand mock the narrow path I pursue, I will not falter. When persecution tries to pierce and divide my heart, I will bless and honor first my Father and then my accusers. They will remember the legacy of sincerity and ardor that touched hearts & left an imprint that lingers even after the earth fades. I will not fear in times of trial and suffering, because my strength in life is I am Yours.  Neither am I bound or limited by the expectations or preeminence of man. I am marked. Marked by Him as a testimony unto a living, moving, breathing, and holy God. He has set me aside for Himself. I am changed. I am different. I do not fit in with the world. I am not of the world although I am among the world. Created to stand out, a beacon of light to a fallen nation. Set apart, destined. I am marked so that I may leave my mark.
