Over the next few days I plan on unpacking the heart and strategy behind The Movement Church. We know that God wants to do amazing things in and through the people of Southern Orange County and it will take more then just passion to accomplish it. Our hope is that with the grace of God, passionate people, and an effective strategy, we can make a difference with the good new of Jesus Christ. 

The Movement Church is a Collaboration of Passionate People, building Authentic Relationships, with Limitless Potential!

We will be a church full of Passionate People. Passionate about life, about the future, and their faith in Christ! (Mark 12:30) 

We will be a church where people build Authentic Relationships. When we focus on what Christ said is the second greatest commandment, “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Mark 12:31) we can’t help but be authentic. If our greatest concern is for those around us, we’ll build the strongest relationships we’ve ever had. 

When these passionate Passionate People build Authentic Relationships, the only result is Limitless Potential. Imagine being a part of something where anything is possible. 

Where people find God in a way they never imagined. Where people from all walks of life accomplish the dreams in their heart.  Where strategic, seemingly unattainable goals are set and surpassed. Where the hopeless find hope and the lost are found.

That’s a church I’ve dreamt about my whole life. It’s a church you want to belong to.

In fact. ..it’s more than a church, it’s a Movement.

Thought I would post an update on The Robinson Family and The Movement Church. 

We are settled into our quaint little condo, and it is feeling like home, more and more each day.

Our family has become closer then we could have imagined, probably due to the fact that we are with each other, EVERY moment of EVERY day. We are learning the important things like; which beach is the best for our kids, and where the great restaurants are. (haha) In all seriousness, Meghan and I are able to spend a few hours in the word and in prayer each day, and we are feeling it’s effects. Our plan has been to spend the first month strengthening our family before we dive into “The Movement Church”, and that plan is working.

We wait with eager expectation for September 7th, the day Brooklyn begins school and we begin operation “Movement.” Here are a few things brewing in the future and some great things to be praying. 

• We will be mapping out our launch budget, Launch strategy, and a few others things in preparation for the third step in joining ARC.

• We’ll be strategically driving the area with the sole purpose of; praying that God would begin to align our hearts with his heartbeat for this region, and looking for the right location to launch our service.

• We will soon dive into our capital campaign as we endeavor to financially back the plan for The Movement Church. (Get ready, i’ll be sending you a letter about this.)  

• We are already beginning one on one connections with people in the area, sharing our heart, learning their dreams and exploring the idea that God may be aligning the two.
